Tate explores Picasso's legacy
More than 90 years after his first visit to London, a
collection of Picasso's work is being exhibited at Tate Britain
exploring his extensive legacy and influence on British art.
The show brings together more than 150 artworks, including paintings from key moments in his career such as Weeping Woman 1937 and The Three Dancers 1925.
The gallery believes Picasso and Modern British Art is also the first exhibition to trace the artist's rise in Britain as a figure of both controversy and celebrity.
