Britain's gay marriages

When gay marriage was introduced in Britain last year, some conservatives predicted that, because gay couples could already form civil partnerships, there would be "no great demand" for marriage. It turns out they were wrong. In Brighton, same-sex marriage is nearly four times as popular as civil partnership.
