London Night 1934

There was another London, before clean air, before the Blitz, before post-war reconstruction. It was a night time London. It was a city of alleys lit by dim lamps. Here, night photography from the book ”London Night” (Collins, 1934) collaborated by John Morrison and Harold Burdekin.

一本在1934年出版、名為《London Night》(倫敦之夜)的書，收錄了多張展現1930年代，倫敦城巿面貌的照片，近日因被上載網誌，頓時再次成為眾人焦點！

英國《每日郵報》報導，相片是由攝影師約翰莫里遜（John Morrison）及哈洛德博德金（Harold Burdekin）拍下，經嶄新的黑夜攝影技巧處理下，一張張黑白照片，在大街小巷微微燈光的映照下，帶有神秘色彩，賦有懷舊情懷的同時，亦予人撲朔迷離的感覺。
